I'm starting to grieve the loss of D's and my relationship. Two years and it's really over. I don't think it's fully set in. It's over. And I'm alone and single. And it's over.
I'm a 20-something girl in the upper midwest that finally discovered, after many years of on-again, off-again dedication to the treadmill, running outside. And I love it. I finished my first half marathon and am looking at other races to complete.
"Running is a big question mark that's there each and every day. It asks you, 'Are you going to be a wimp or are you going to be strong today?"
- Peter Maher, Irish-Canadian Olympian.
"What matters is not necessarily the size of the dog in the fight - it's the size of the fight in the dog."
- Dwight D. Eisenhower
